Our scope of skills
Building, extending or renovating is a wonderful adventure
It is often the project and dream of a lifetime. It is up to you to master each stage and avoid the “pitfalls”, so that your dream does not turn into a nightmare. The various contractors involved are “generally” competent: it is their coordination and how precisely your wishes are communicated to them that cause disappointment and, often, loss of money.
You know what you want, but how do you explain it to the mason or the carpenter?
You need clear, precise plans that express your wishes, so that contractors understand exactly what you want.
Do you want to know in advance how much it will cost?
You need specifications and, if possible, quantities already calculated, so that quotes can be compared on the same basis.
You don’t want it to drag on, but which contractor, and when?
The contractors need to be scheduled and coordinated, so that they don’t get in each other’s way and nothing has to be broken once it is finished.
We can help you with all of this:
- Choice of materials and technical solutions
- Project finalisation, plans, building permit and prior declaration of works
- Administrative and financial assistance
- Search, selection and contracts with the contractors
- Supervision and control of the works on site
- OPC assignment: scheduling, piloting and coordination of the works
- Handover of the works, checking of invoices and management of payments

Our 35 years of professional experience are at your service.
1. Study & concept
The project
Translating our clients’ wishes and dreams into plans and technical language remains a challenge that motivates us at every new meeting. Listening is the key to a successful project: presenting sketches and preliminary designs allows us to confirm and refine our understanding of your wishes.
The design
We build the project virtually in the same order as the construction works, which allows us to spot 90% of execution or aesthetic problems before work starts.
A good knowledge of trends and new techniques, as well as research into old documents (in the case of a renovation), allows us to make economical and aesthetic choices and to advise our clients, although traditional techniques often remain the best choice.
The budget
Each project is costed item by item: a detailed quote, in the same order as the works, is given to the client. This avoids unpleasant surprises: the client only pays for what has been planned (unless they request changes).
2. Jobsite & management
Organisation
Our job is to keep an overview while watching the details: organising supplies, defining storage areas, coordinating the different trades and setting up task schedules.
Communication
Weekly site meetings allow us to review progress and anticipate problems. A detailed report with photos is sent to the client wherever they are: you can be in Brazil and still know how your project is progressing.
Management
Material suppliers, payments to the various contractors, taxes, insurance, permits and progress payment statements are all handled by us.
One single contact, one single person in charge.
3. Logistics & control
Logistics
Good logistics management on a jobsite can make costs vary, sometimes by a factor of two, and therefore its final price. Contrary to the saying, the right tools are often more important than the right worker.
Our motto for years has been “think before you act”: the success of a jobsite often depends on a sound analysis of the means to be deployed and of the execution time.
How often do we see workers going back and forth for a month to carry materials up the floors, or shovelling them over the fence, when a crane truck would do the same job once and for all in two hours!
In some countries, the choice must be the opposite: on projects where efficient tools were hard to find, we applied the UN’s HIMO principle (labour-intensive works), which not only reduces costs but also provides work for a greater number of people.
Control
“Trust does not exclude control,” said Lenin. Despite the careful selection of competent contractors, misreading of plans, bad work habits and sometimes a lack of responsibility often cause disappointment or unpleasant surprises. Anticipating these errors comes with experience: that is why we follow our jobsites day by day and check dimensions, mixes and the proper use of materials.
4. Implementation
- Earthworks and excavations.
- Structural works: new buildings, underpinning, retaining walls, swimming pools, ponds.
- Finishing works: interior fit-out in all trades, renovation of old structures and upgrading to current standards.
- Swimming pools and ponds: hydraulics, coatings and various accessories (automatic pool covers, built-in cleaning systems, etc.).
These works are carried out partly by our own teams and partly by specialised companies (electricity, joinery, glazing, locksmithing, plumbing, etc.), all managed by us.
